I'm a huge fan of using telephoto lenses for my landscape photography, and I've been curious about the XF100-400mm for a long time, so I took it with me on a recent trip to Iceland, along with the 2x teleconverter, to see what it was like to use in the field.
Read MoreLast month I was in Iceland for a workshop and had the the opportunity to head out to the volcanic eruption of Fagradalsfjall at Geldingadalur. We were lucky that the volcano was active during the time when we were there, and it was just an incredible experience to witness it. We’ll be camping out in the mountains so packing involves taking photography gear as well as stuff for camping and eating. I’ll be trying to keep the pack as light as possible while making sure my gear covers all my needs as well as providing a comfortable sleep. Here’s a look at what I’ll be taking with me
